Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Kick off your Golden Triangle Tour With Ajmer And Pushkar.Our representative will pick you up at the airport and escort you to the hotel for the night.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
After a hearty breakfast, our dedicated guide will take you on a tour of the National Capital. Delhi is an amalgamation of all things that are Indian. A luxury coach takes you to the majestic Central Delhi, also known as Lutyen’s Delhi, named after the man who planned and designed the Capital. Your first stop will be the Rashtarpati Bhavan the home of the president of India and India Gate, both fine examples of the British Raj.You will spend the afternoon exploring the old Laxmi Narayan Temple and also the more contemporary Akshardham Temple.
After lunch, you will explore the city within a city – the Mughal city of old Delhi. In its crowed lanes you will be transported to another era in time. Walk to the Red Fort to feel the might of the Mughal Empire in Delhi and see an aerial view of the city from the minaret of India’s biggest mosque – Jama Masjid.
Day 3 : Delhi/ Agra
Enjoy a breakfast on wheels onboard the air-conditioned train from Delhi to Agra. Our representative will meet you at the Agra railway station and take on a tour of the city. Your first stop will be the magnificent Taj Mahal; an ode to love and lovers of the entire world. Emperor Shajehan employed 20,000 highly skilled workers and artisans.
No trip to Agra is complete without a visit to the Agra Fort which has the Pearl Mosque, the only of its kind in the world.
Day 4: Agra /Jaipur
After breakfast drive down to Fatepur Sikri, the ancient township of the Mughals. Visit the Jama Masjid that was built by Emperor Akbar as his private mosque. This town complex has beautiful and massive gateways on all four sides that lead to the places dedicated to his wives; Hindu princess Jodha Bai and Muslim Princess Rukkaiya Begum and also the one dedicated to his most favored minister Birbal.
By evening you will be in Jaipur and can spend a relaxing evening in your Hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, prepare your self for an experience that is so uniquely Indian … riding to a fort perched upon a hilltop on elephant back! This glorious 16th Century fort was built by Maharaja Man Singh and offers many beautiful vistas and a marble temple dedicated to Kali – the goddess of strength.
The walled city of Jaipur, fondly referred to as the “Pink-City” was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Experienced guides will take you on an afternoon tour of this historical city. Here you will see the Jantar Mantar ancient observatory before heading over to the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), this structure still speaks of the many conquerors that walked this land; a rare fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture. The palace museum houses an extensive collection of Indian art heritage on display for visitors to enjoy.
Day 6: Jaipur – Pushkar
In the morning, a luxury coach will drive you to the city of Pushkar. After you check into your hotel, you can spend a relaxing evening exploring the colorful streets of Pushkar.
Day 7: Pushkar
Pushkar, each year hosts the largest cattle fair in the world. Apart form that; Pushkar is also an ancient holy city, which has many temples and sights of religious significance to the Hindu religion. Enjoy cattle racing, camel trading, folk dances and local snacks and food.
Day 8: Pushkar – Ajmer – Delhi
After attending the morning prayers at the famous Bhrama Temple, you will head out to the city of Ajmer. The Ajmer Sharif Dargah (mosque) is a one of a kind monument that has been built by three kings, the main shrine was made in the rein of Humayun, The Nizam of Hyderabad added the gates and Shajehan added the white marble mosque.
After your tour, your guide will take you to the railway station and help you board the train to Delhi. Once you reach Delhi, our representative will take you to your hotel.
Day 9: Departure
You will be driven to the Delhi airport for your journey home or wherever else your adventures are taking you next.
